Our Library Resource Centre is open to students throughout the school day. Each grade visits the Library at least once a week to sign out books and access learning materials.

You can search our library's resources by author, title, subject, keyword, series, or editor/illustrator searches using our L4U™ Library Software.

We participate yearly in the Ontario Library Association's Forest of Reading Programs. This includes the Red Maple Book Club (students in Grades 7 & 8), the Silver Birch Book Club (Grades 5 & 6) and

the Silver Birch Express Book Club (Grades 3 & 4). The primary students also participate in the Blue Spruce Reading Program, where the students are read a total of ten picture books and have the opportunity to vote for their favourite!

We also have a Parent Lending Library located in the front lobby of the school. Parents are invited to borrow books from this collection in person or, if you prefer, you may submit an email request to Jennifer Cooke, Library Support Specialist at The book will be sent home with your child and is to be returned to the school with your child within the 3 week lending period.
